When I first started writing music some ten years ago it just came to me as a form of expression. At the same time, the “occupy” my friends and I thing at the moment was holding dice games several nights a week. I myself had quite the hot hand and decided a parody track would ultimately fit the moment and me as a person. This quickly became the next big thing for my friends and I. We quickly hit the streets with many parody raps and were on our way to making legitimate music in hopes of securing a mass audience. In those moments of life just passing us by I understood what we had was greater than some audience better than any fame. We were family! As those days of hitting the studio faded and no fame or big finale LPs were released, I still understood the value in all those moments we shared. I continue to write music to this day and it is not for any fame. It is not for any recognition. It is something I simply came to enjoy because of those moments we used to share, because of the form of expression it allows me, and finally for the feeling I get when a song is done. I put little emphasis on whether these tracks make any charts or I make any money. If you like it share it, if you think it is hot call your local radio station to request it. You want the track for your collection? Then by all means purchase the track. In the end I’m going to keep living and keep writing music. This is what I do because this is who I am.
