mrvictorfreeze has loved music every since he could remember. He fell in love with Hip Hop when he first heard "Its Like That" by Run DMC. mrvictorfreeze began his musical career by going to The Disc Ltd. and recorded his first song. After numerous open mic appearances and contests, mrvictorfreeze decided it was in his best interest to start his own entertainment label with the help of his brother Brian Gillespie (RIP) and named it Below Freezing Entertainment (BFE). With the business side finished, mrvictorfreeze purchased a keyboard and with no formal musical training began to make tracks. While making tracks, he discovered a plethora of talent and formed Da Players Convention (DPC). DPC recorded dozens of tracks but they were never released and the group broke apart.
Undaunted, mrvictorfreeze found some more talent and honed them into professional artists. BFE was back with their first official release of SYNDICATE. The Syndicate is comprised of Tommy Gibbs aka 5 Star General and Mono Giancana aka mrvictorfreeze. The album was produced and mixed by mrvictorfreeze and was full of gangsta realism and coined the phrase "RESPECT MY GANGSTA". The album received nominal success and is an underground hip hop classic. The next release from BFE was Take Whats Yours that featured everyone on the BFE roster. mrvictorfreeze recorded the albums UNFORGIVEN (released 8/24/2018 a personal look in the life of mrvictorfreeze) & LAUGH NOW, CRY LATER which is a smorgasboard of songs that are explicitly gritty as well as humorous, hence the title.
Stay tuned and join the movement!!! It's still..."RESPECT MY GANGSTA"!!!
